A tire recycling event for residents ONLY will be held on October 8 from 1-3 pm at the Hazleton Department of Public Works, 215 North Cedar Street in Hazleton.

There is no charge for Hazleton residents (proof of residency required). The cost is $10 for non-residents. Additional tires are $1 each, cash only.

There is a donation request of one non-perishable food item for the Food Bank.

Residents may bring a maximum of eight tires per vehicle. Accepted tires include car, light pick-up truck, motorcycle, SUV and bicycle. Tires can be on rims but must be free of mud, dirt and debris. 

NO tires will be accepted from service stations, tire garages or dealers.
